You will work across the software development lifecycle-collaborating with mobile and vehicle hardware teams to ensure seamless end-to-end integration, writing clean and secure backend services, and leveraging modern DevOps pipelines to deploy your code to the cloud.

Responsibilities

What you'll do:

  • Build & Scale: Design, develop, and support robust APIs, microservices, and cloud-native platforms using Spring Boot (Java) and Ktor (Kotlin) frameworks.

  • Cloud & Infrastructure: Deploy and manage services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) leveraging modern containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and serverless technologies like Cloud Run and Cloud Pub/Sub.

  • End-to-End Integration: Collaborate cross-functionally with mobile app and vehicle/device teams to integrate, test, and triage end-to-end connected features.

  • DevOps & Automation: Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Cloud Build to ensure fast and reliable deployments.

  • Code Quality & Security: Practice Test-Driven Development (TDD) to ensure high code coverage. Leverage tools like SonarQube, Cycode, 42Crunch, and FOSSA to deliver secure, compliant, and high-quality software.

  • Observability & Support: Implement log management and system monitoring using Splunk or GCP Cloud Logging to proactively identify issues. Participate in on-call rotations to support critical outages.

  • Agile Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Design, and Engineering Managers in an Agile/Scrum environment to break down complex requirements into incremental, production-ready user stories.

Qualifications

You'll have...

Experience: 2-3 years of professional software engineering experience.

Technical Skills:

  • Hands-on experience developing microservices using Spring Boot (Java) or Ktor (Kotlin)

  • Proven experience designing and implementing APIs on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

  • Experience leveraging containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes

  • Experience setting up or maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, or Jenkins.

  • Commitment to code quality through Test-Driven Development (TDD).

  • Familiarity with static code analysis, licensing, and security tools (e.g., SonarQube, FOSSA, Cycode).

  • Experience with log management, monitoring, and alerting tools like Splunk or GCP Cloud Logging.
