Position Description: Need software engineer to work on Propulsion in house developed apps in CAD / CAE domain with the knowledge of OOP concepts, JAVA/Angular programming and Automation testing. Job involves software engineering responsibilities in CAD / CAE domain such as understanding the requirement, design and develop the solution, problem debugging and analysis, testing the developed components/models and pushing the tested module to the version controlled environment (GitHub).
Key Responsibilities: - Engage with customers to deeply understand their use cases, pain points, and requirements, showcasing empathy and advocating for user centric software solutions.
- Solve complex problems by designing, developing, and delivering using various tools, languages, frameworks, methodologies (like agile) and technologies.
- Assess the requirements of the software application or service and determine the most suitable technology stack, integration method, deployment strategy, etc.
Experience Required: - 5+ years of experience of utilizing Java full stack to design scalable web applications by leveraging microservices architecture and APIGEE / RESTful APIs.
- 3+ years of experience of utilizing Angular to create user friendly front end and enable real time data updates in the web application user interface.
- Minimum 5+ SQL / Oracle database experience or PostGres.
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP) development (Cloud Run, Pub Sub, GCS Bucket) and deployment experience.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong in functional, integration and regression testing manually and automatically.
- Experience working complex SQL queries to retrieve and analyze data in relational database.
- Familiarity with GitHub or equivalent source control repositories.
- Experience with test driven development practices.
- Experience troubleshooting application and performance issues.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi task and manage changing priorities.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative when facing unexpected problems
Experience Preferred: - Agile development
- Experience in Jira
- Development Practices such as TDD/BDD
- Well versed with design such OOP
- Code quality analysis of performing static and dynamic analysis on their own code
- AI Development
The pay range for this role is $110,000- $120,000 per annum including any bonuses or variable pay.
