Job Summary
We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, enhance, and support enterprise applications with a focus on delivering new capabilities, maintaining existing functionality, and improving overall product quality. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with business partners and technical teams in an Agile environment to develop scalable, high-quality software solutions while supporting product planning and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, maintain, and support full-stack applications using modern software development practices.
• Develop RESTful services using Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain user interfaces using Angular and HTML.
• Collaborate with business partners and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
• Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Support production applications by troubleshooting and resolving issues.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and source code repositories using GitHub.
• Utilize Insomnia for API development and testing.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Perform SQL queries and data analysis to support application functionality.
• Contribute to application design, product enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Conduct internal demonstrations and effectively communicate technical solutions to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Participate in user acceptance testing and help ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Support the adoption of microservices architecture and API-based integrations.
• Help define and implement product enhancements while contributing to the overall product roadmap.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in software development or a related technology field.
• Strong experience with Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and RESTful services.
• Experience developing front-end applications using Angular and HTML.
• Experience with GitHub, Insomnia, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience providing production application support.
• Knowledge of SQL and data analysis.
• Ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable code.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, including backlog management, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts effectively.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with AWS services such as IAM, S3, and Lambda.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Experience writing user acceptance tests.
• Experience working with APIs and distributed systems.
• Experience in the financial services industry.
