Full Stack Developer, Senior

The Opportunity: 

As a full stack developer, you will support a high-visibility Federal client initiative focused on expanding their Enterprise LLM capability. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer who can work across the full technology stack, from developing intuitive user interfaces and backend services to building APIs, connectors, AI-enabled workflows, and cloud-native applications. This individual will help design and implement the systems that power enterprise search, AI-driven applications, and mission-critical integrations within a secure government environment.

This role is more than just coding. As a senior full stack developer at Booz Allen, you’ll use your passion to master new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You’ll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You’ll make sure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

You Have: 

  • 5+ years of experience developing and delivering enterprise software applications across both front-end and back-end technologies

  • Experience designing, developing, and maintaining full-stack web applications

  • Experience building RESTful APIs and system integrations and building and consuming APIs across enterprise environments

  • Experience with SQL and database including relational and NoSQL database technologies

  • Experience developing and integrating microservices, distributed applications, multiple systems, applications, and data sources

  • Experience developing secure cloud-native applications within AWS, GCP, or Azure

  • Experience with Java, Python, C#, C/C++, .NET, JavaScript, and React

  • Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern web application frameworks

  • Public Trust

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have: 

  • Experience acquiring client requirements and resolving workflow problems through automation optimization 

  • Experience with AI-enabled applications, Generative AI, LLMs, AI Agents, or enterprise search solutions

  • Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance 

  • Master’s degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
