Position Summary:
The Full Stack Developer will support and enhance the organization’s existing .NET applications while helping transition the development ecosystem toward a modern, cloud-native architecture. The role requires practical experience with .NET Core and ASP.NET Web API, but places greater emphasis on building future solutions using Node.js, TypeScript, React, and Next.js. This position will develop reusable frontend components, REST and GraphQL APIs, event-driven services, and lightweight microservices deployed across Azure. The developer will work with Azure SQL, Azure Functions, API Management, containerized workloads, and automated CI/CD pipelines through Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
Essential Job Functions:
Lead the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise applications using .NET, Node.js, TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Azure-native services that support organizational objectives and operational excellence.
Architect and implement scalable, secure, high-performing, and maintainable software solutions using cloud-native frameworks, modular design patterns, reusable components, and industry best practices.
Provide technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, solution design, development, automated testing, deployment, observability, and ongoing production support.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions that improve processes and deliver measurable value.
Design, develop, and optimize frontend applications, backend services, database structures, integrations, APIs, and event-driven workflows to support scalability and long-term maintainability.
Develop and oversee complex SQL queries, stored procedures, data access patterns, and database solutions that support application functionality, reporting, integration, and enterprise data management.
Establish and promote coding standards, API design principles, development methodologies, automated testing practices, and quality controls to ensure consistency and reliability across applications.
Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to development team members to improve code quality, application security, knowledge sharing, and overall engineering effectiveness.
Mentor and support Full Stack Developer I and team members through coaching, technical training, pair programming, and professional development opportunities.
Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, performance optimization, and resolution efforts for complex application, API, integration, cloud infrastructure, and production support issues.
Oversee application deployment processes through Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines, ensuring reliable, secure, repeatable, and efficient software releases.
Develop, maintain, and govern technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, API specifications, development standards, deployment procedures, and knowledge base resources.
Evaluate existing .NET and legacy systems and identify opportunities to improve performance, scalability, security, automation, observability, and migration to modern application frameworks.
Research, evaluate, and recommend emerging technologies, cloud services, development frameworks, and engineering practices that support innovation and advance organizational technology capabilities.
Partner with product and project teams to estimate effort, assess technical risks, establish development priorities, define delivery approaches, and support successful project execution.
Contribute to technology strategy, application roadmaps, and architectural decisions that align with organizational goals and future business needs.
Ensure compliance with security, data governance, and regulatory requirements in the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of software solutions.
Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and continuous improvement culture by encouraging knowledge sharing, innovation, and adoption of best practices across the development team..

Minimum Qualifications/Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
Three (3) or more years of experience in software development, application development, or a related technology role.
Proven experience developing, implementing, modernizing, and supporting enterprise applications using .NET, Node.js, TypeScript, React, Next.js, or comparable web technologies.
Experience providing technical leadership, mentoring, coaching, or supervising technical team members.
Advanced proficiency with C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Web API, Node.js, TypeScript, SQL, JavaScript, and related development frameworks and tools.
Proficiency with GitHub and source control management best practices.
Experience with modern frontend technologies, including React, Next.js, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, responsive design, reusable components, and frontend testing practices.
Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting applications using Azure App Service, Azure Functions, containers, Kubernetes, IIS, or comparable cloud hosting environments.
Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality solutions within established timelines.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex technical challenges and develop effective solutions.
Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to a variety of audiences.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and contribute to an inclusive, team-oriented work environment.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic and evolving environment.
Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, system architecture, application design, testing practices, and development best practices.
Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment, technical expertise, and strategic thinking when planning, prioritizing, and executing work.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday (work schedule may vary). Some overtime may be required and ability to work extended hours as needed to meet business needs.

This position requires close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading. The ability and means to travel locally, overnight, in specific regions or states via automobile and airplane may be required.
