KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years of experience in software development.
- Fluent in technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js, Vue.js, RDBMS and/or NoSQL solutions, and event logging and messaging systems.
- Enjoy working with and displaying data using tools like Vega-Lite, D3, SVG, and/or Observable or Jupyter notebooks.
- Comfortable creating, documenting, and using REST APIs.
- Able to work effectively with wireframing tools and graphics programs.
- Well versed in user and group management concepts and OAuth.
- Can effectively transition prototypes to production ready services.
- Able to create, deploy, and support IaaS/PaaS production systems (esp. using Azure Functions, Azure API Management, Azure App Service, Azure IoT Hub, and IoT Edge).
- Comfortable with Git, GitHub, and CD/CI practices.
- Enjoy tinkering and experimenting in areas outside of your core competencies.
JOB RESPONSIBILITES TECHINICAL
- Delivering reliable, useful, intuitive customer-facing web sites.
- Collaborating to make the best choices concerning technology stack.
- Creating APIs and developer documentation to empower our partners to derive value from our platform.
- Leveraging Azure services to develop modern, reliable, low latency systems to facilitate the ingest and routing of up to millions of events per day to critical internal systems and customer interfaces.
- Work with product and engineering leaders to help define what we can deliver to our customers.
- Owning the entire software development lifecycle; from planning and design, to implementation and testing, and followed by operation and maintenance.
- Being self-driven and motivated to deliver clean solutions that meet and sometimes exceed requirements
- Various other duties as assigned.
