Full Job Description
Everforth ECS is seeking a Full Stack Software Developer to work remotely.

Everforth ECS seeks a dynamic and experienced Mid/Senior Full Stack Developer to provide solution engineering, design, and development services for our national security client. This role will focus primarily on a PowerShell- and Rego-based open source tool used to assess Microsoft 365 security configurations against federal baselines, with the flexibility to support related tooling for other cloud productivity platforms and infrastructure automation as needed. We are seeking a problem solver, who enjoys the challenge of tackling technical tasks and problems creatively and communally. A strong desire and aptitude for learning is a must with a proven ability to adapt and drive change - our solution and its underlying baselines are rapidly evolving, along with new requirements, technologies and the threat landscape. The ideal candidate will:
  • Have a solid understanding of application architecture and security tooling design, with experience across the full lifecycle of developing, testing, and supporting security assessment tooling, including SecDevOps and the integration of Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services.
  • Be experienced writing well-structured, well-tested code using coding best practices, ideally including PowerShell module development and/or declarative policy-as-code such as Rego/OPA.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to define and improve development processes, testing practices, and contributor workflows in a public, open source GitHub environment.
  • Provide thought leadership and influence through effective communication and consultative, analytical, organizational, and design skills, including within the public open source contributor community.
  • Bring exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills, able to work effectively with fellow developers, agency stakeholders, and public contributors alike.
