Job DescriptionPosition SummaryThe QA Manager leads
day-to-day quality and food safety execution on the production floor, ensuring that standards defined by FSQ are
consistently followed and verified.
This role acts as the
execution bridge between:
- FSQ standards
- Operations reality
Key ResponsibilitiesQA Team Leadership- Manage supervisors and technicians
- Drive consistency across shifts
Pre-Operational & In-Process Verification- Lead QA pre-op inspections
- Ensure early detection of issues
- Validate corrective actions
Product Quality Assurance- Ensure product meets:
- Specifications
- Labeling requirements
- Oversee foreign material controls
Floor-Based Quality Control- Identify:
- GMP violations
- Process deviations
- Drive immediate corrections
Cross-Functional Support- Partner with:
- Support execution of standards
KPIs- Pre-op compliance rate
- GMP adherence
- Product defect rates
- Customer complaints

WORK ENVIRONMENTThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a team member encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The work environment is a plant setting with varying degrees of temperatures and noise levels. Exposure to manufacturing equipment movement and wet/slippery floors. However, the vast amount of work is conducted in a climate-controlled building. Limited travel may be required.
Qualifications- 5-10+ years QA leadership
- Strong floor experience
- Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP
- Strong leadership and coaching skills
Additional InformationThe salary range for this role is $100,000- $110,000 (Annually). Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, and candidate skill set and experience. Base pay is just one component of Jack Link's Total Rewards package for Team Members. Other rewards may include annual incentive and program-specific awards.
