Description

The Front Office Content Manager is a department-level position that plays a critical role shaping workforce engagement and mission partner interactions. As a member of the Front Office Team, they will be responsible for creating, publishing and managing content to: capture the impact of ongoing research and development activities; support knowledge management efforts; promote internal awareness of projects and activities; and support engagement with mission partners. Working with team members, the Content Manager will support weekly publication cycles, ad hoc content creation, special events (conferences, all-hands, etc.), and curation of standard briefing materials.

Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
  • Drafting and publishing content across the range of internal communication channels, including the Customer's website.
  • Helping to develop and distribute employee communications content that supports the Customer's communications strategy and reflects key messaging.
  • Supporting weekly publication cycles for highlights and newsletters.
  • Supporting the design, development, and implementation of various software solutions for content/knowledge management.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • Must have an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
  • TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional communications team members.
  • Successful experience working directly with customers, including senior leaders, to develop visual communication and design solutions; must demonstrate ability to present and explain design strategy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to develop content for presentations, briefings, reports, blogs, and web platforms.
  • Experience with content management systems (e.g. Joomla and Wordpress) including CMS plug-ins and extensions, and site maintenance.
  • Working knowledge of web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and familiarity with responsive design principles and accessibility standards (WCAG).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office Suite/SharePoint.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize competing deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, or similar visualization software).
  • Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
