SUMMARY: Leads financial planning and analysis activities by developing financial forecasts, cash flow projections, annual budgets, management reporting, and performance analyses to support strategic decision-making and drive business results across the organization.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Prepares and analyzes daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and operational performance reports.
- Develops, consolidates, and analyzes financial reports; investigates and explains significant variances; identifies, researches, monitors, and reports operational trends impacting business performance.
- Partners with business leaders to analyze project, product, and service profitability and provides actionable financial insights and recommendations.
- Identifies, analyzes, and presents opportunities for operational improvements that positively impact financial performance.
- Develops, analyzes, and reports recommendations regarding equipment purchases, business opportunities, compensation programs, capital expenditures, and other business initiatives.
- Analyzes actual financial performance against forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans; investigates significant variances and communicates findings and recommendations to management.
- Prepares industry benchmarking reports and competitive analyses and evaluates Company performance against applicable benchmarks.
- Leads the annual budgeting process and supports the development of the Company's strategic and operating plans.
- Develops and maintains financial models supporting strategic planning, capital investments, growth initiatives, and operational decision-making.
- Partners with business leaders to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor business performance.
- Supports executive leadership by providing financial analysis, forecasting, and recommendations related to strategic business decisions.
- Supports the development and implementation of finance and accounting policies, procedures, controls, and management information systems.
- Supports the establishment of procedures, coordinates schedules, and expedites workflow as required by business needs.
- Assists with special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field required.
- MBA, CPA, CMA, or other relevant professional designations are a plus.
- Ten (10) or more years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, accounting, or a related field.
