About the roleWe're seeking a hands-on Forward Deployed Engineer to build customer-facing software solutions and translate clinical and operational needs into shipped software. You'll join a small, fast-moving team with a strong emphasis on customer collaboration and practical problem-solving.
What you'll do- Develop front-end and back-end features using TypeScript, React, Deno, Node, and SQL.
- Work directly with customers to gather requirements and iterate on solutions.
- Deploy and operate services on AWS and troubleshoot production issues.
- Travel frequently for on-site customer engagements and deployments.
- Contribute to product design and rapid prototyping; move ideas to shipped code.
- Support team logistics during travel and ensure smooth customer experiences.
What we're looking for- Experience with the stack: TypeScript, SQL, React, Deno, Node, and AWS.
- Willingness to work in-person in Miami; open to relocation from anywhere in the U.S.
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without employer-sponsored visa.
- Strong customer-facing communication and ability to collaborate with clinical or operational teams.
- High emotional maturity and a reliable, hands-on build style.
- Strong ability to ship reliable software quickly; comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- Open to new grads and early-career candidates.
Compensation & benefitsBase salary: $80,000-$130,000 annually, with a total compensation target in the range of $120,000-$150,000 when including benefits, equity, and travel-related allowances where applicable.
LocationPrimary location: Miami, Florida, United States. This is an on-site role with travel to customer sites as needed. Visa sponsorship is not available.
