Position OverviewFirst Truck Centre, doing business as Velocity Truck Centres, is currently accepting resumes for an experience Foreman (Heavy Duty Technician). We are looking for best in the industry who are ready to build a long-term career working on all OEM Heavy Duty Trucks, Trailers, and Motorhomes. Compensation Plan- Competitive Base salary : $110,000k - $120,000k

Primary Job Functions- Perform all aspects of diagnostic and repair of commercial trucks and trailers.
- Directly supervise and monitor technicians in the performance of all their duties
- Dispatch technicians to jobs based on skill levels and training certifications
- Direct the smooth operation and control of the shop workflow
- Assist in repair order process
- Communicate with Service advisors to ensure customer satisfaction
- Perform Road tests
- Perform quality assurance activities, including:
- Quality assurance inspections
- Checks of job progress and quality
- Training Technicians in quality assurance
- Supervise the maintenance/use of tools and shop equipment with an emphasis on safety
Qualifications- Strong aptitude for diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance
- Commercial Transport (Truck and Transport Mechanic) Journeyman Certificate (or Red Seal)
- Heavy Truck and Trailer subject matter expert
- Self-starter able to work in a fast-paced, detailed, and process-driven environment
- Ability to work in a physical capacity, including heavy lifting and using tools throughout the shift
- Daimler Certification is considered an asset
- Class 5 driver's license
- Class 1, Class 3, and MVI Certifications are a bonus
