Full Job Description
The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a FMS Security Specialist (NH-0080-03) to work for the Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) in the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) at Hanscom AFB, MA.

Qualifications/Requirements:

This position is located at AFLCMC/ESI, Hanscom AFB, MA. The incumbent will provide security technical expertise in developing and ensuring security requirements are met by all parties. Implements the program protection plan to guide activities for supported Security Assistance/Cooperative Programs (Foreign Military Sales) and their facilities, and advises on system program protection, technology assessment and control, and information, industrial and personal security programs. Implements the program protection and anti-terrorism initiatives by the development of plans for the protection of the weapon systems; conducts studies on the sensitivity, technical aspects of those systems.

U.S. Citizenship

Obtain maintain a Security clearance.

This position requires CONUS and OCONUS travel.

Knowledge of program protection, system security, technology assessment and control, foreign military sales, information, industrial, and personal security concepts, principles, and practices.

Expert ability in developing, analyzing, and evaluating security programs to meet mission requirements and improve the security program for the SAF.

Knowledge of engineering, contracting, logistics and other functional concepts, programs, procedures, and practices.

Ability to communicate orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and accurately.

Ability to establish effective professional working relationships with coworkers and customers, contributing to a cooperative working environment and successful accomplishment of the mission.
