Job Description

We are currently seeking a Logistics Analyst to support our customer in Patuxent River, Maryland location. The Logistics Analyst will provide Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Case support to the PMA-280 FMS Japan Team.

Functional Description:

Supports the efforts and actions of the Case Manager/Program Managers/Team Lead for various Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs. With other members of the Security Cooperation team, and under the direction of the Case Manager/Program Manager/Team Lead, assists the Case Manager in analyzing and managing all aspects of FMS casework in accordance with the Arms Export Control Act, the Security Assistance Management Manual (SAMM) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR) as well as applicable DoD Acquisition policy guidance. In support of the above functions, a Secret clearance is required for the position. Security Clearance level obtainable after assignment to position is acceptable. The Contractor will determine security level achievability prior to placement.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:
• Upon FMS Case acceptance, validation and initial implementation, support the establishment of Military Standard Systems/Defense Logistics Management System MILS/DLMS and/or Military Standard Requisitioning & Issue Procedures (MILSTRIP) documents, assignment of new requisitions, development of project directive for the new case(s), processing of purchase requisitions, analysis and participation in acquisition planning for new and/or advanced systems for potential customers.
• Support the Pre-Case and Case Implementation Product Support to define spares, publications, sanitization, training, and software support requirements.
• Provide logistic expertise to review and analyze FMS requests for warranty and defect determination.
• Evaluate FMS countries maintenance concept (s), maintenance system(s), engineering requirements, support equipment, support of support equipment, and other resource requirements, and assess the applicability and commonality of existing resources to support the system and support equipment being sold.
• Evaluate and track timely retrofit kit delivery schedules, Reports of Discrepancies (RODs), incident reports, and subsystem obsolescence to identify availability of products for potential FMS customers.
• Investigate and coordinate transportation requirements to ensure appropriate lead times are planned for freight forwarders, co-production FMS manufacturers, or staging areas for modifications or kitting facilities.
• Other duties as assigned

Required Education:

AA/AS degree in Program Management, Technical, or Business analysis discipline

Allowable substitution:

Three (3) years additional relevant work experience may be substituted for an Associate's Degree

Required Experience:

Three (3) to ten (10) years of relevant experience. A Journeyman level person typically performs all functional duties independently.

Desired Experience:

Experience related to weapon systems acquisition and life cycle management. A demonstrated working knowledge of DOD SAP policies and procedures relating to FMS is required. Experience in identifying programmatic requirements for FMS agreements and responding to Letters of Offer and Acceptance (LOA), Price and Availability (P&A), Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) is required.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Compensation at Precise Systems is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $78,433.26 to $117,649.90 (annualized USD). This range represents the standard pay for this role and is just one component of Precise Systems' total compensation package.
