Nurse Manager – Float Pool & Per Diem Pool
Schedule: Full-Time, 40 Hours/Week, Day Shift
Location: Newark Campus

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and operational oversight for the Float Pool and Per Diem Pool.
  • Ensure safe staffing, scheduling, and effective resource allocation.
  • Foster a culture of quality, safety, service excellence, and professional nursing practice.
  • Recruit, develop, coach, and evaluate nursing staff.
  • Support quality improvement, patient experience, and caregiver engagement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing leaders, and interdisciplinary teams to achieve organizational goals.
  • Manage department resources and contribute to budget planning and stewardship.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards.

Requirements
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Completed Master's degree in nursing or alternatively, completed BSN with a Master's degree in healthcare or business management field.
Professional certification in a related nursing specialty required; Nurse Executive certification preferred
Five years of appropriate clinical and leadership experience
Current RN licensure accepted in the State of DE
BCLS certification

Annual Compensation Range $121,180.80 - $193,897.60

This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
