Job Description Summary
The FLIGHT DECK Transformation Team (FDTT) is a 2-3 year mid career program for leaders who want to help run GE Aerospace using FLIGHT DECK, our proprietary lean operating model. FLIGHT DECK is a systemic approach to running our business to deliver exceptional value as measured through the eyes of our customer.

The transactional track places participants on our most critical office and business process SQDC challenges, working with functional and FLIGHT DECK Leaders (FDLs) to activate and accelerate the FLIGHT DECK Fundamentals and Behaviors in business processes across GE Aerospace.

These experiences will deepen participant capabilities against the FLIGHT DECK Enterprise Capability Model in FLIGHT DECK Leadership, People Leadership, Strategy & Results.

Job Description

Minimum Requirements (Transactional Track)

To be eligible for consideration for this track, candidates at a minimum are required to have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance or related field.
  • Approximately 5-10+ years of total working experience,
  • Experience owning SQDC outcomes in a transactional or office environment.
  • Demonstrated use of multiple FLIGHT DECK/lean fundamentals in business processes with direct customer impact
  • Evidence of leading cross-functional teams to solve problems and run improvements.
  • Alignment with GE Aerospace Behaviors - Respect for People, Continuous Improvement, Customer Driven - including comfort at genba, willingness to iterate through experimentation, openness to feedback and connects work to customer impact.
  • Geographic mobility while on program and at time of graduation per business needs.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% per year while on program to support business needs.
