POSITION TITLE: Fiscal Supervisor- Vendor Payments SALARY RANGE: $3,447.76 - $5,093.93 Bi-weekly; $89,641.76 - $132,442.18 AnnualREPORTS TO: Director of Finance and AdministrationSPECIFIC DUTIES:- Interviews, hires, trains, schedules, supervises and evaluates all accounts payable staff. Establishes standards of work performance for such staff.
- Reviews purchase of service (POS) and E-billing procedures and internal controls, and revises as necessary.
- Establishes and maintains good relationship with vendors and client service units in coordinating purchase of service to consumers.
- Reviews and processes rejected EFT advices for reprocessing and assists the Controller with other bank related duties with respect to POS payments.
- Monitors and processes garnishments.
- Processes unique purchase of services and other POS adjustments/deposits as necessary.
- Collaborates with other fiscal staff to process retro payments due to rate changes and corrections as needed.
- Coordinates with information system and client trust units on timeliness of all accounting work.
- Assists the Controller with CPA audits and other compliance audits as needed.
- Performs other POS and Accounting related duties as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor's Degree or five years experience as a lead person in accounts payable function.
- Experience in a non-profit or governmental agency preferred.
- Two years supervisory experience preferred, or 5 years RCEB experience or other regional center experience in a senior accounting position.
- Experience with computerized accounting systems.
- Excellent organizational skills; attention to detail; ability to manage multi tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience writing policies and procedures and/or other documentation.
- Demonstrate cultural awareness and sensitivity and an ability to work effectively with culturally diverse populations.
