About This Role:The successful candidate will apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to support the financial operations of the department's Business Services Division. This role requires precision, accountability, and a strong sense of public stewardship, as the incumbent will be responsible for financial processes essential to the planning, implementation, and oversight of capital projects.
Minimum Requirements:High school diploma or G.E.D. and 3 years of related experience.
Preferences:Experience processing accounts payable and receivable requests with multiple funding sources.
Experience reconciling high volumes of financial data.
Experience working with federal and state funding.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Work Schedule:The core work hours for the Department of Transportation are Monday-Friday, 8am - 5pm, however, telework may be available after 3 months. If telework eligible, the position may revert to in-office scheduling if business needs change.
Starting Salary Range:
$28.32 - $40.69 Hourly
