Full Job Description
Summary:

The Financial Services Manager is responsible to sell new and pre-owned vehicle buyers financing and insurance programs.

Position is 100% on-site.

Essential Duties include the following; however, other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
  • Provides guests with thorough explanation of aftermarket products and extended Service Contracts.
  • Provides guests with complete explanation of manufacturer and dealership service procedures and policies.
  • Submits paperwork to and obtains approval from finance sources on all finance deals in a timely manner.
  • Establishes and maintains good working relationships with several finance sources including manufacturer.
  • Verifies insurance and obtains payoffs on trades with open lines.
  • Process federal, state, and dealer paperwork related to vehicle transaction.
  • Checks all paperwork for correct residual, commission, buy rate, title, lien information, taxes and DMV paperwork before forwarding to the business office.
  • Follows through with contract discrepancies to ensure payment of loan.
  • Assist retail salesperson in collecting down payment and all monies associated with transaction.
  • Seeks new lending institutions to secure competitive interest rates and finance programs continually.
  • Meets monthly sales and guest satisfaction objectives set by management.
  • Performs other administrative duties, as assigned by management.
  • Assists in all other areas of the financial services department, as needed
  • Creates and maintains good relations with guests.
  • Maintains a professional appearance at all times.
  • Maintains high ethical standards in all actions.
  • Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

This position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges: Base Hourly Rate of $16.90 plus commission compensation which can range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) with no upper limit. The current earnings range for this position is $8,171 to $23,389 per month.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The individual should possess:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, desired.
  • Minimum of two (2) years sales experience, automotive finance experience preferred.
  • Knowledge mathematical concepts (such as adding, subtracting, dividing, multiplying and percentages) and their application; vehicle leasing concepts; equity values and depreciation; and laws that govern retain automotive sales.
  • Ability to coordinate activities with other employees; read and comprehend instructions and information in the English language; learn and understand the federal, state, and local laws which govern retail auto sales; use good judgment in challenging situations; pay attention to detail; follow-up with guests and employees; work well with the public; communicate in a professional manner on the phone, internet and in person; use standard office equipment.

  • Frequently lift and move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and move objects up to 25 pounds.
