Full Job Description
Role Summary
  • The FP&A Analyst is a member of the Corporate & Shared Services FP&A team, supporting the Human Resources business unit and Corporate Benefits. This role delivers financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting while partnering with HR stakeholders to provide insights that inform business decisions.
  • 4 days/week on-site in Owings Mills, MD is required.


Responsibilities
  • Partner with Human Resources and benefits stakeholders to provide financial insights on expense drivers, trends, and risks.
  • Support budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
  • Perform monthly variance analysis (actuals vs. budget/forecast/prior periods) and clearly communicate key drivers.
  • Support month-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial results.
  • Prepare and deliver recurring and ad hoc financial reporting for leadership.
  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and summarize actionable insights.
  • Support development of materials for business reviews and strategic planning.
  • Assist the Senior Manager with advanced financial modeling related to corporate benefits (e.g., plan design, vendor costs, utilization trends).
  • Proactively identify risks and opportunities and communicate implications to management.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting, forecasting, and FP&A processes while ensuring data integrity and control.


Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field and 2+ years of relevant work experience.


Preferred:
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience with financial systems and data tools (e.g., Snowflake, Power BI, or other dashboarding tools).

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.

Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to one day per week from home.

Base Salary Ranges

$69,500.00 - $118,000.00 for the location of: Maryland, Colorado, Washington and remote workers
$76,500.00 - $130,000.00 for the location of: Washington, D.C.
$87,000.00 - $148,000.00 for the location of: New York, California

Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual's relevant experience and skills for the role. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
