Responsibilities

Tasks:

  • Direct and evaluate the operations of the accounting and financial departments to ensure organizational efficiency and regulatory compliance.
  • Establish and implement financial policies, internal control systems, and procedures to safeguard company assets.
  • Coordinate the budget process, including financial planning, expenditure control, and detailed variance analysis.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements, summaries, and cost-benefit reports for presentation to senior management.
  • Manage and mentor the financial team (3-4 people), including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
  • Monitor financial data and reporting systems to identify critical trends and recommend strategic improvements.
  • Maintain financial records using manual and computerized systems to ensure audit readiness and accurate record-keeping.
