Location: Pala, CA

QUALIFICATIONS: (Include equipment knowledge/use)
  • Minimum four years experience in accounting, financial analysis, financial report writing or related area, preferably in the gaming industry, required.
  • Experience in an automated accounting environment helpful.
  • Must possess excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills
  • Experience with financial accounting, financial management and reporting, and financial statement interpretation required
  • Must be extremely numbers oriented and computer literate with superior spreadsheet skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret the most complex of documents such as technical journals, financial reports and legal documents.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests, regulatory agencies or members of the business community.
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups and /or Boards of Directors
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Assist/coordinate monthly/quarterly/year-end financial close.
  • Approves (assists in Preparation if needed) journal entries prior to posting to the general ledger.
  • Responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP in a timely manner for the property and proper distribution thereof.
  • Review and ensure that the financial records are accurate and maintained up to date.
  • Oversee monthly/quarterly/yearly tax returns.
  • Administers financial accounting, payroll, and accounts payable process.
  • Oversees financial accounting accounts payable, and payroll
  • Responsible for daily/ monthly reporting on company cash position.
  • Review/prepare bank information for internal and external distribution.
  • Assist in interest payments/renewals of bank borrowing notes.
  • Process wire transfers and ACHs when necessary.
  • Assist to maintain capital/fixed asset purchases, tracking and reporting.
  • Assist to maintain fixed asset register. Prepare special reports and analysis at the direction of Senior Management
  • Signs checks and purchase requisitions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
