The
Financial Analyst Senior is responsible for preparing financial and business-related analyses and researching in such areas as financial performance, provider payment inquiries, submitting non-claim provider payments (e.g., Medicaid State Directed Program payments), preparing month-end accruals, developing and executing business improvement opportunities.
How You Will Make an Impact:- Prepares Medicaid non-claim provider payments.
- Researches payment inquiries and communicates provider payment information to internal and external stakeholders.
- Compiles and prepares standard and adhoc financial and regulatory reports.
- Prepares month-end high dollar accrual information used to support actuarial reserves.
- Participates and engages in business improvement projects
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:Requires a BA/BS in accounting or finance and a minimum of 1 year of experience in general accounting, financial planning, and management reporting or an approved Finance internship; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred.
