TC Energy is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our U.S. Rates and Regulatory Department as a Financial Analyst-Rates, reporting to the Manager of Rates. What you'll do TC Energy is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our U.S. Rates and Regulatory Department as a Financial Analyst-Rates, reporting to the Manager of Rates. This role provides critical support to TC Energy's U.S. Natural Gas business, with a primary focus on the design of interstate natural gas transportation and storage rates. Other responsibilities may include financial analysis, acquisition/new project analysis, and financial forecasting. The successful candidate must be an effective problem solver able to leverage Excel skills to manipulate large sets of data and develop/update sophisticated financial/rate models. This position will work closely with Marketing, Business Development, Accounting, and other groups to support and implement business initiatives that impact the broader organization. Valuable input and recommendations are expected of this position to contribute to strategic decisions regarding TC Energy's regulated pipeline assets. In addition, this position will ultimately interact with regulatory agencies and consultants. What you'll do 34; Develop and update Excel models to analyze volume and cost data, allocate costs between various service types in the design of transmission and storage rates for various service types. 34; Develop and update financial spreadsheet models as well as projects eligible for inclusion in a Modernization program. 34; Provide research and analysis on financial and regulatory projects. Prepare and present summary of analyses. Develop Section 7(c) rates and services for expansion projects. 34; Work within an integrated team to drive and execute on pipeline rate making strategy. 34; Assist in the preparation of filings to be submitted to regulatory agencies. Requires ability to conduct research and apply findings to company-specific initiatives. 34; Position will help drive strategy for the successful implementation of new Modernization programs on assigned assets while effectively managing current Modernization programs. 34; Position will assist with representation of pipeline assets in rate & modernization proceedings. 34; Responsibilities may include the preparation of testimony and exhibits. Minimum Qualifications 34; BA/BS in Business, Finance, Economics, or another related field. 34; 3-5 years of relevant experience, with working knowledge of financial statements and accounting concepts. 34; Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and disciplines. 34; Strong analytical and quantitative ability, particularly related to economics, finance, or accounting. 34; Demonstrated ability to develop complex Excel models and present analyses using advanced formulae with limited oversight. 34; Proven ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships to support strategic execution. Preferred Qualifications 34; Experience supporting pipelines rates, rates design, or regulatory filings. 34; Experience analyzing cost volume, and financial data to support rate-making, regulatory proceedings, or strategic business decisions. 34; Experience developing solutions to complex regulatory or project-related challenges. 34; Prior experience in the regulated pipeline industry and/or working knowledge of FERC regulations is strongly preferred.
