As a result of internal movement Dematic has an immediate need for a Financial Analyst to make valuable contributions at our North America headquarters in Grand Rapids, MI. This position reports to the Senior Manager of FP&A and provides diversified experience within the Finance organization to provide a well-rounded background to leverage for future growth positions.
The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $66,400-$99,600 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications:- This is What You Will do in This Role:
- Serve as key knowledge source of North Americacash flow and net working capital (NWC), owning the budget/forecast process and delivering reporting and variance analysis with thoughtful insights.
- Compilemonthly cash disbursement forecasts and analyze historical forecast performance against actual results.
- Model and submit monthly NWC forecast into Oracle, collaborating with colleagues for key inputs
- Ensure a high degree of reporting quality with completeness, accurate data, concise commentary, and timely delivery
- Provide financial business partner support to HR and Facilities teams
- Add further value to the finance function through the identification and implementation of operational improvements; streamline reporting, automation opportunities etc.
- Provide proactive analysis and insights above and beyond regular responsibilities
- Work on special project and improvement teams as needed.
- Support Finance’s intern program and provide mentorship to FP&A intern.
What We are Looking For:
- Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
- 3-5years of relevant working experience including either in a large corporate environment or publicaccounting experience.
- Practical experience understanding the link between business issues, profit and loss, and cash flow (direct and indirect)
- Strong communication skills, with high level of integrityand a detail orientated mindset.
- Candidate should be a motivated self-starter, able to demonstrate sound judgment and resourcefulness in decision-making and problem solving.
- Financial modeling, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with SAP, Oracle or AIis an advantage.
- The ideal candidate will aspire to use this role as a springboard into project controlling, operations controlling, or other finance roles within approximately 2-3 years.
