About the Role
K. Hovnanian is seeking a highly analytical Financial Analyst to join our Corporate Treasury team. In this role, you will support financial planning, liquidity analysis, capital markets activity, and strategic finance initiatives by developing models, analyzing performance, and preparing materials that inform decision-making across the organization. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career finance professional to gain exposure to senior leaders and high-impact corporate finance work.

What You'll Do
1. Apply K. Hovnanian's values and guiding principles in support of high-quality financial analysis and business partnership.
2. Gather and organize data needed to prepare financial projections, analyses, and offering materials in partnership with Corporate and Division/Area Controllers.
3. Build, maintain, and enhance financial models using spreadsheet-based tools.
4. Review and analyze public financial information, market data, and related materials to support Treasury and Finance activities.
5. Help prepare updates and reporting materials on company performance for internal and external stakeholders.
6. Support the analysis and preparation of materials for equity investors, project lenders, joint venture investments, structured lot options, and other financing transactions.
7. Assist in projecting company performance, cash needs, and liquidity requirements.
8. Contribute to reporting, compliance, and performance measurement activities related to the company's financial transactions, including building and updating detailed financial models.
9. Support public debt offerings and ongoing communications with lenders, rating agencies, investment banks, and joint venture partners regarding financing and capital needs.
10. Participate in special projects and ad hoc analyses for senior leadership, including strategic finance
and potential M&A-related work.
11. This role does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.

What You Bring
To be successful in this role, you should bring a strong foundation in finance or accounting, sound analytical judgment, and the ability to communicate clearly with a range of business partners.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, plus 1-2 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, modeling, accounting, treasury, or corporate finance. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required.

You are comfortable interpreting financial and business information, preparing clear written materials, presenting insights to stakeholders, and solving practical problems in a fast-paced environment.
