Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 2+ years of experience in accounting or financial analysis; manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong understanding of P&L, cost accounting, and financial analysis principles.
• Experience with SAP and financial reporting tools (e.g., Business Intelligence, PowerBI; Hyperion preferred for senior-level candidates).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and influence decision-making.
• Career progression mindset with readiness to grow into a Controller or Junior Controller role within 6-24 months.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial and operational data to provide actionable insights for plant performance and decision-making.
• Prepare and post journal entries, run SAP reports, and support month-end and year-end close activities.
• Monitor and reconcile accounts, including intercompany transactions and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Oversee petty cash and purchasing card activity to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, government reporting, and audit processes.
• Develop reports, presentations, and dashboards for leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Partner cross-functionally to provide financial analysis and support junior analysts/interns.
