Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly reports analyzing key operational and financial performance metrics for senior management.

  • Analyze project risks and manage provisions in collaboration with Risk/Senior Management teams.
  • Collaborate with financial managers and senior management for data analysis essential for reporting.
  • Drive process improvements within the finance department.
  • Participate in drafting the annual profit plan and supporting external audit teams.
  • Coordinate with sales teams to finalize monthly sales metrics.

Position Description: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc financial reports for senior management and parent company as well as support annual profit plan and audit.

Reports to: Financial Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Prepare monthly reports for Senior Management and parent company which include analysis of key operational and financial performance measures.
  • Prepare quarterly reports for parent company, including current company risk, claims and other metrics.
  • Analyze project risks and set up/adjust provisions at headquarters level to review with Risk/Senior Management teams.
  • Collaborate with Financial Managers, Controllers and Senior Management to gather and analyze data for reports needed.
  • Take active role in streamlining and improving department processes.
  • Provide input into of annual profit plan development.
  • Provide support for external audit team.
  • Prepare and review monthly write-down report; analyze profit centers for potential write ups/write downs.
  • Participate in month-end and year-end processes including confirmation of actuals, review needs for top down adjustments, run all month end reports for company.
  • Coordinate with sales teams to finalize sales monthly.
  • Analyze, organize and evaluate substantial amounts of data in short periods of time.
  • Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.

The salary range for this position is estimated to be $84,000.00 - $132,000.00 annualized. Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or related field, and 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Matriculated or graduate of MBA program in Finance or a related field desirable
  • Construction industry experience preferred
  • Supervisory or management of small team preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of Accounting Principles, GAAP, ability to assist in understanding proforma, journal entries, general ledger codes, and ledger costs
  • Analytic ability to review and assess financial data, interpret trends, and recognize inconsistencies
  • Apply critical thinking to manage through complex decisions and judgments
  • Ability to perform cost analysis and organized for maximum efficiency
  • Display actions related to profitability and risk management and effectively communicates risk management issues
  • Exercise independent judgment and discretion with ability to identify problems and initiate corrective action
  • Ability to manage many activities, requests, and short-cycle deadlines simultaneously
  • Must have proficiency in financial system applications, advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
