Financial Accounting Manager - BIBIBOP

Position Summary:

The Financial Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization's accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with applicable accounting standards, and strong internal controls. This role manages the monthly close process, supports audits, and provides technical accounting guidance while leading and developing the accounting team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead monthly and quarterly close processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness for assigned accounts
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and support schedules for assigned accounts
• Develop and lead an accounting team to deliver accurate and timely financial information
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP (or IFRS, as applicable)
• Ensure consistency and accuracy across balance sheets, income statement, and cash flow reporting
• Manage general ledger accounting and ensure compliance with internal controls and Group Reporting standards.
• Analyze financial results, trends, and variances; provide actionable insights to senior leadership.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory or managerial experience
• Experience with month end close, finance reporting and audits
• CPA Preferred
