Your pride will be in staying focused and handle a lot of detailed information as well as a variety of tasks will be a vital part as you learn and grow within this diverse and interesting position.
Responsibilities - Full cycle accounting with emphasis on Accounts Payable
- Month End Financial Statement preparation
- Data entry and coding of invoices along with coordinating payments
- Purchase order preparation
- Prepare quarterly client reports
- Reconciliation of bank and credit card accounts
- Fixed asset schedule and prepaid asset schedule maintenance
- Ability to prepare government filings (GST & PST)
- Balances intercompany accounts by reconciling entries
- Completing timely and accurate full-cycle bookkeeping services
- Maintains accurate records and control reports
- Demonstrates ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Maintains a high level of confidentiality in handling sensitive documents
- Supporting other accounting functions for the team
- Ad hoc duties assigned by Manager / Controller as required
Qualifications:- Post-secondary education with a diploma or degree in Accounting / Finance
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience or 1 year in the same position
- Experience in Replicon, QuickBooks Online would be an asset
- Experience working with clouded based database software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to maintain the highest standard of confidentiality
- Strong computer skills and knowledge in relevant office software applications (such as Microsoft Excel using pivot tables, charts and graphs, lookup tables, formulas, and filtering)
- Ability to work both independently and as a team
- Self-motivated with the ability take initiative
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Motivated with the ability to prioritize and work well under pressure

CompensationThe salary for this role is based on an average of 37.5 hours a week. The estimated range is between
$38.50- $42.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience.
