The Financial Planning and Analysis Professional analyzes and forecasts financial, economic, and other data to provide accurate and timely information for strategic and operational decisions in support of Claims Administration and Payment Integrity (CAPI).
The Financial Planning and Analysis Professional collects, compiles, verifies, and analyzes financial information so that senior management has accurate and timely information for making strategic and operational decisions for optimal staffing and inventory management practices. Develops and maintains staffing models in Excel for CAPI. Gains understanding of business operation for accurate inventory forecasting. Provides staffing/inventory variance analysis to operators. Engages in root cause analysis to determine explanations for trend variances. Connects operations and finance to achieve common goals.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree ideally in finance, accounting or similar field
- 3 - 5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role
- Intermediate or advanced level user with Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytic skills with attention to details
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous health insurance industry experience working in a Finance/Accounting department
- Evaluation and development of financial models
- Managerial or Cost Accounting experience
- Experience with Access, SQL, and multi-dimensional databases

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$71,100 - $97,800 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
