OverviewProvide financial leadership to branch and corporate management in the development and implementation of business strategies, objectives, and operating plans to ensure fiscal soundness, operational effectiveness, customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Serve as the financial business partner to District Managers and branch leadership, supporting both Service and Install operations.
- Lead the forecasting and annual operating plan process for assigned districts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with operational goals.
- Prepare routine and ad hoc financial packages and reports to support management and the Monthly Operating Review (MOR) process.
- Analyze branch-level P&L statements, identify trends, and provide insights into underperforming areas.
- Retrieve and analyze data from internal systems including Data Warehouse, OneStream, and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Ensure proper financial controls are in place in accordance with IR FICAP and support oversight of required audits.
- Review and approve journal entries and reconciliations; support month-end close activities.
- Provide oversight for physical inventory and reconciliation processes; recommend actions to reduce obsolete and slow-moving parts.
- Partner with District Managers on cost reductions, product costing, and productivity improvement analysis.
- Collaborate with the corporate Finance team on new projects and initiatives.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- 7+ years of progressively complex financial analysis experience, preferably in a multi-location or field-based environment.
- Experience with ERP systems and financial analysis of multi-operation financial statements.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with OneStream and Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a strong plus.
- Strong understanding of service and installation business models, ideally in the refrigeration or HVAC industry is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to influence non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to travel occasionally to branch locations.
