Amazon is looking for a dynamic Finance Manager to join our Operations Product Development (OPD) Central FP&A team. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a high-profile team, working closely with executives and collaborating across various Product Finance and horizontal teams.
As a Finance Manager, you will drive financial analysis and reporting for key business initiatives, develop and maintain complex financial models, provide strategic insights to support decision-making, perform compliance controllership, communicate financial results and projections to senior leadership, and identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.

Key job responsibilities
- Consolidating and presenting financial summaries
- Building forward looking frameworks and proactively prepare leadership for what is around the corner
- Developing scalable and efficient financial processes as well as automation that support the business
- Deriving meaningful insights and recommendations from large data sets
- Tracking initiatives that span multiple business functions
- Coordinating and supporting forecast planning and month-end close processes
- Performing compliance controllership
- Leading ad hoc financial analyses and projects
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
- 5+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience
- 5+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 5+ years of leading cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience
- 5+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MBA, or CPA
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
- 5+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
- Knowledge of SQL/ETL
The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
