The Finance Manager oversees financial reporting & analysis, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and decision support analysis to drive organizational growth through providing insightful and accurate information for decision-making. This role partners closely with the accounting team, the CFO, and leaders across the business to analyze financial performance, identify opportunities, and deliver forward-looking insights. The Finance Manager helps drive continuous improvement in financial and business processes, systems, reporting and analytics.
Responsibilities:- Review accuracy of reporting and analyze financial performance, including revenue, expenses, balance sheet, cash flow, and operational metrics, to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts that support strategic planning and executive decision-making
- Develop and manage annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial plans in partnership with business leaders, identifying financial risks and opportunities.
- Analyze financial results, key performance indicators, and operational trends to identify variances and recommend actions that improve profitability and operational efficiency.
- Oversee the preparation and accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Partner with all departments to assist in evaluating and assessing return on investment for key business initiatives, capital investments, and strategic projects.
- Monitor organizational financial performance, including profitability, operating costs, liquidity, and other key financial metrics, providing recommendations to improve fiscal performance.
- Drive continuous improvement of financial reporting processes, systems, and analytics to enhance efficiency, data accuracy, and decision support across the organization.

Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required or equivalent work experience
- CPA or CMA certification preferred
- 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, accounting principles and business cash flow.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to convey financial related information clearly and professionally to diverse audience

- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft software, accounting software packages commonly used within medium-size organizations, business intelligence platforms and internet-based technology solutions
- Construction industry experience preferred

- Strong team orientation to work collaboratively with work associates to achieve departmental objectives
- Proven record of strong attention to detail and accuracy, strong analytical skills, along with demonstrated ability adapt change
- Ability to travel up to 10%
