  • Ensure compliance with Canadian accounting standards, CRA obligations, and internal financial policies
  • Manage GST/HST and PST filings and support corporate tax compliance
  • Design and maintain internal controls, governance documentation, and audit readiness
  • Partner with the CFO and business unit leaders on budgeting, forecasting, and operational performance
  • Support continuous improvement of finance processes and systems, including active participation in our NetSuite ERP environment
  • Occasional travel within Canada and the US as needed

  • Demonstrated experience managing a financial close process in a multi-entity environment
  • Solid working knowledge of Canadian tax compliance (GST/HST, PST, corporate tax)
  • Strong proficiency with ERP systems

Strong assets:
  • Experience with NetSuite specifically, or involvement in an ERP implementation
  • Background in public practice or a consulting/professional services environment
  • FP&A experience alongside controllership

WHO YOU ARE
  • A team player who enjoys working collaboratively and contributes to a positive team environment; reliable and accountable
  • A problem solver who thinks critically and proactively finds solutions
  • Detail-oriented in execution, but able to see the bigger financial picture
  • Someone who works effectively with significant autonomy in a lean team environment
  • A clear, confident communicator with senior leadership
  • Adaptable and comfortable managing competing priorities in a dynamic organization
