Job SummaryThe Director is responsible for managing all aspects of the monthly forecasting and annual planning processes for the business. This includes leveraging current technologies and best practices to report financial results, preparing various ad-hoc scenarios and related analysis for senior leadership, and consolidating, reconciling, and loading plans into financial systems. The Director collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and establish strong relationships with business and finance organizations. Additionally, the Director is responsible for developing team members by broadening their knowledge and experience.
Essential Job Functions- With some guidance, manages all aspects of the monthly forecasting and annual planning process for the business.
- Understands business unit complexities.
- Leverages current and efficient technologies and best practices to report financial results.
- Directs the process for consolidating, reconciling and loading plans in finance systems.
- Proactively produces multiple ad-hoc BU and/or enterprise planning scenarios for senior leadership.
- Leverages financial expertise as well as business and industry knowledge to provide insight and recommendations.
- Requires close collaboration and thought partnership with nearly all parts of the enterprise.
- Establishes strong relationships with cross-functional teams to gather needed information.
- Able to communicate & deliver effective presentations. Is a trusted thought partner.
- Leads, develops and holds direct reports accountable to outcomes.
- Sets clear expectations, provides regular feedback, and fosters an environment of continuous improvement.
- Evaluates team talent and takes appropriate action to support the development and succession of the team.
Experience Requirements- Minimum 8 years of Accounting or Finance Experience required.
- Previous supervisory experience required.
Education Requirements- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred.
Additional Qualification- Possesses strong technical aptitude. including knowledge of Excel, PPT, and Data organization.

- Possesses strong product knowledge.
- Strong verbal communication and listening skills.
- Develops and delivers effective presentations.

Physical ActionsJob is performed in-person at a Farmers office or virtually at an approved alternative work location. The physical work environment is indoors and climate-controlled with adequate lighting and ventilation. Possesses adequate hearing, with or without correction, to communicate with co-workers, respond promptly to auditory signals or alarms, and discern sounds essential for maintaining safety and productivity in the workplace.
