Financial Analyst

Full Time, 80 Hours Per Pay Period, Day Shift

 

Position Summary:

The Financial Analyst III will play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making by providing insights and recommendations based on financial data and will also be responsible for reviewing financial statements and assisting with executive summaries of financial results.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
  • Analyze financial data and trends to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Prepare and present financial models and projections.
  • Monitor budget performance and report variances to management.
  • Review and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial information.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial presentations for VP Controller and Executive Leadership.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on financial statement analysis.
  • Collaborate with accounting teams to resolve discrepancies and improve reporting processes.
  • Coordination and review of executive summaries of financial results.
  • Summarize complex financial information in a clear and concise manner for executive review.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure business performance.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for deviations from budget and forecasts.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for operational efficiency.
  • Assist in the development of long-term strategic plans.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic initiatives.
  • Participate in special projects and ad hoc analyses as required.
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures.
  • Support internal and external audit processes.
  • Maintain and enhance internal controls related to financial reporting.
  • Follows policies, procedures, and safety standards. Completes required education assignments annually. Works toward achieving goals and objectives and participates in quality improvement initiatives as requested.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Minimum Education:           

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; Master’s or CPA certification preferred.

 

Minimum Experience:         

6 years of experience or the equivalent combination of experience and education; healthcare experience preferred.
