Financial Analyst
Full Time, 80 Hours Per Pay Period, Day Shift
Position Summary:
The Financial Analyst III will play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making by providing insights and recommendations based on financial data and will also be responsible for reviewing financial statements and assisting with executive summaries of financial results.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
- Analyze financial data and trends to identify risks and opportunities.
- Prepare and present financial models and projections.
- Monitor budget performance and report variances to management.
- Review and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial information.
- Assist in the preparation of financial presentations for VP Controller and Executive Leadership.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial statement analysis.
- Collaborate with accounting teams to resolve discrepancies and improve reporting processes.
- Coordination and review of executive summaries of financial results.
- Summarize complex financial information in a clear and concise manner for executive review.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure business performance.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for deviations from budget and forecasts.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for operational efficiency.
- Assist in the development of long-term strategic plans.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic initiatives.
- Participate in special projects and ad hoc analyses as required.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures.
- Support internal and external audit processes.
- Maintain and enhance internal controls related to financial reporting.
- Follows policies, procedures, and safety standards. Completes required education assignments annually. Works toward achieving goals and objectives and participates in quality improvement initiatives as requested.

Qualifications
Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; Master’s or CPA certification preferred.
Minimum Experience:
6 years of experience or the equivalent combination of experience and education; healthcare experience preferred.
