Job Schedule: 5-40- Employees work 8 hours per day, 5 days per week Job Description: L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Field Technician in Groton, CT. The Field Technician will provide a variety of maintenance and technical support on products at customer and/or field locations. Works under limited supervision and may be a resource to other employees in areas of expertise.
Essential Functions: - Installs, operates, maintains, repairs and modifies equipment.
- Performs a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations.
- Troubleshoots and performs diagnostic test of equipment malfunctions.
- Installs, upgrades and removes products ensuring coordinative engineering field change.
- Maintains effective customer communications and relations.
- May provide onsite training of customer support personnel. Responsible for the installation, check out, operation, maintenance and repair and modification of customer equipment and/or software. Performs diagnostic tests to troubleshoot equipment failures.
- Serves as company liaison with customers on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects.
- Interprets customers' needs and clarifies if the responsibility for problem resolution falls to sales personnel, customer support reps, or engineers.

Qualifications: - Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/associate's degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
- Active US Secret Security Clearance.
Preferred Additional Skills:- Strong communication skills (written, verbal, presentation).
- Competent computer skills related to Microsoft office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington State, DC and Virginia (Greater D.C. area), Denver, or NYC areas is $75K-$139K. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, Vermont and Virginia (outside of Greater D.C. area) is $65K-$121K. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
