Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience as a Field Service Engineer or Technician with CNC Machines (Makino, YCM, Fanuc preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of CNC programming, PLC's, servo drives, and control systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with blueprint and schematic reading abilities.
  • Clean driving record and valid driver's license required.
  • Must have a US Passport or equivalent and reliable transportation for local/regional travel.
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair CNC Machine Tools on-site, including diagnostics of various systems.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues swiftly to minimize client downtime.
  • Train clients on machine operation to ensure performance and safety.
  • Document service activities and parts usage in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with sales and engineering to explore opportunities for improvements.
  • Adhere strictly to safety standards in accordance with company policies.
  • Travel within and outside Washington to meet customers on-site.

About the Job

Qualified applicants should know/experience in:

  • 2+ years as a Field Service Engineer or Technician working with CNC Machines. (Working with Makino, YCM, Fanuc preferrable).
  • Knowledge of CNC programming, PLC's, servo drives, and control systems.
  • Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to read blueprints, schematics and use diagnostic tools.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform on-site installations, preventative maintenance and repairs on CNC Machine Tools, including diagnostics of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently, minimizing downtime for customers.
  • Provide training and technical support to clients, ensuring optimal machine performance and safety.
  • Document service activities, parts usage, and recommendations in our CRM system.
  • Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to identify opportunities and continuous improvements.
  • Adhere to company and industry safety standards.
  • Travel within Washington and occasionally beyond to customer sites.


Qualifications also include:

  • Must have a clean driving record and a valid drivers license.
  • Must have a US Passport or equivalent.
  • Must have your own reliable transportation and willing to travel local/regional.
  • Must be able to safely lift to 50lbs.
