The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Communications Subject Matter Expert (SME) with a minimum of twelve (12) years of hands-on experience in RF communications and/or communications networks, supporting C4ISR and C5ISR systems across the Department of Defense (DoD).This position provides Life Cycle Sustainment and Maintenance (LCSM) support, training, and technical expertise for VSAT satellite systems, Cisco-based networks, and deployable communications environments.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing customer support through the performance of on-site product/solution installation and sustainment. This includes overseeing and/or performing any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems. Checks out and approves operational quality of solution components. Instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of the solution. Serves as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects. Interprets customers' needs, defines next steps, and clarifies the assignment of responsibility for problem resolution as needed. Includes any aspect of field support and is not limited to system hardware, software, network, and other technical infrastructure components

Qualifications:

Required: 
Qualified candidates must have 12 years of experience operating and configuring Cisco routers and switches, VSAT/ Idirect, experience in integration, fielding, production, installation, test, and evaluation, maintenance, and Life Cycle Sustainment Management (LCSM) in Department of Defense (DoD)Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) systems, subsystems, and equipment. In addition, the employee should have knowledge in HAIPE encryption devices, BGAN and INMARSAT networks, and LAN/ WAN. Employees must be able to pass CRC for potential deployments. Candidates must have hands-on experience with Joint Warfighter C5ISR systems to include three (3) of the following four (4) areas: Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Test & Evaluation, and Training.  Must be a recognized expert who has demonstrated leadership in Joint Warfighter C5ISR systems development, logistics support or test & evaluation. Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Must be a self-starter and have proven experience of accomplishing the mission with minimal oversight

Pay Range:

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
