JOB OVERVIEWThe Field Service Manager II will represent KUBOTA Tractor Corporations Service Department at independently owned KUBOTA dealerships within an assigned region of the US. Efforts of the role are to focus on dealer aftersales business development, technical and professional dealer personnel training, service support system management and warranty oversight.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES This position does the following in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws / regulations and the Company's policies, procedures and guidelines: - Perform complex analysis work, identify and resolve problems.
- Coaches the Dealers and promotes all products and services offered by Kubota
- Supports region in achieving sales and market share goals for aftersales products.
- Involved in spare parts retail inventory management process and procedures.
- Advises and supports dealer's overall profitability targets.
- Positive and frequent communication with the dealer's general manager and/or principle owner.
- Enable and ensure that Kubota TSC is informed and involved with all critical territory technical issues.
- Responsible for dealer performance and developing recommendations.
- Ensure maximum customer uptime through coordination with Kubota Warranty and TSC.
- Active leadership of the dealer's aftersales process with a target of positive cash flows.
- Fosters and empowers the dealer to provide proactive service and support to Kubota customers.
- Lead aftersales business performance assurance workshops
- Lead professional service management training.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS - High School Diploma or GED required.
- At least 5-7 years of dealer or OEM operations experience required:
- With a Bachelor's degree at least 5 years' experience required.
- In lieu of a degree at least 7 years' experience required.
- Kubota certified in dealer business operations management (within 1 year of hire).
- Proficient level understanding of profit and loss + cash flow and ability to educate others on its principles.
- Ability to apply expert level knowledge of retail inventory management for spare parts business.
- Ability to apply advanced diagnostics and problem-solving techniques to any situation.
- Proficient level skills using MS Office
- Comfortable in make professional level presentations to large groups of people.
- Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time domestically and internationally.
- Uses effective oral and written communication skills; delivers information in a clear and concise manner, listens and communicates effectively with others.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS - Requires sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, to permit the employee to function in a general office environment and accomplish tasks and duties as outlined above.
