Core Responsibilities and Tasks
Lives by our safety program and drives engagement at all levels.
Conducts/performs semi-complex site surveys to develop base or installation design plans.
On-site process start-up and operations leadership and support
Size pipelines, pumps, blowers, other equipment, etc., based on site hydraulics
Identify, coordinate, and engage with other functional teams to complete assignments
Create equipment, instrumentation, and valve lists to be purchased.
Conduct in-person shop or jobsite reviews throughout the project.
May develop the planning and estimating of labor categories, rates, material dollar costs, transportation expenses and per diem rates to complete complex proposals.
Guides and performs the review of complex-task plans, drawings, and installation schematics and provides continual guidance throughout task duration
Preempts potential problems and provides effective solutions in applying engineering concepts, techniques, knowledge or processes
Writes and modifies PLC and HMI programs for water treatment systems
Configures automation networks, including Ethernet/IP, ControlNet, Profibus, Profinet and Modbus
Support the construction/project manager with the technical oversight of contractors.
Trains customers and other engineers to maintain and adjust complex tools, test equipment and calibration items, etc.
Writes and submits reports covering all job activity.
Position Requirements
FORMAL EDUCATION:
Required:
5-8 yrs of experience
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
Prefer a BS/BA degree in Engineering.
Prefer experience with water solutions
Demonstrated history of excellent communication skills
Strong knowledge of operational processes as defined in work area;
Ability to research a variety of parts needed for repairs, alterations of water systems;
Advanced mechanical and electrical aptitude
Experience with AutoCAD and AutoCAD electrical (plus)
Advanced computer skills(MS Office Suite, CRM, other applications)
