A Snapshot of Your Day As a Field Service Engineer - Controls & Digitalization at Siemens Energy, you will work in power plants, specializing in control systems for power generation equipment, specifically the Siemens Energy Omnivise-T3000. In this role, you will interface directly with customers to install, commission, and service their equipment, which includes factory setup and testing of systems. The position requires 70% travel, primarily within North America, with occasional projects in Latin America.
How You'll Make an Impact • Install Omnivise-T3000 equipment in power plants (on turbines & generators).
• Commission Omnivise-T3000 equipment in power plants (on turbines & generators).
• Service Omnivise-T3000 equipment in power plants (on turbines & generators).
• Provide detailed reports on work completed.
• Conduct back-office and factory testing of equipment.
What You Bring • Minimum BS Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• At least 8+years of relevant experience.
• Strong customer focus and organizational skills.
• Schedule-conscious with excellent technical writing abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to travel extensively for project requirements.
