This position sits with our Swedish Match affiliate.

Swedish Match North America LLC, develops, manufactures, and sells quality products with market-leading brands such as ZYN nicotine pouches and other smokeless tobacco products. Our vision is "A world without cigarettes," and our mission is to provide adult consumers with alternatives that are enjoyable, but have a lower risk than smoking. We are one of the fastest-growing consumer-packaged goods (CPG) producers and ZYN is the number one selling nicotine pouch in the US. In order to continually promote and create innovative products that support our vision, we are currently seeking a Field Sales Trainer Sr Specialist. This is a hybrid role out of our sales office in Charlotte, NC.

Your 'day to day':
    • Preparing learning materials and processes that align with our culture
    • Knowledge of consumer goods, convenience stores, and the jobs and functions that surround them.
    • Identifying challenges facing Field Sales positions, teaching ways and methods to increase sales and productivity.
    • Looking for and teaching ways to improve overall performance to achieve goals.
    • Partnering with the Trade and Marketing Teams staying current with programs and promotions to ensure current communication to our Field Sales new hires.
    • Partnering with the Salesforce Team to ensure understanding and proper training of our Salesforce platform and its functions.
    • Partnering with the HR Team, ensuring communication with regards to upcoming, current, and on-going training classes for new hire Field Sales Personnel.
    • Partners with leaders to create an atmosphere where all people feel welcome and valued ensuring that employees of all backgrounds and beliefs can work effectively together.
    • Work collaboratively with Region Management providing feedback to help develop and evaluate new hires to further strengthen their sales teams as they go into the field and sale and market the Swedish Match portfolio to further elevate SMNA's brands in the field.
    • Identify and develop educational curriculum, recruitment and retention, employee engagement, recognition strategies and tools to support company-wide diversity and inclusion goals.
    • Support the design, development and execution of an internal communication strategy to ensure awareness of programs and progress via SharePoint

Who we're looking for:
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Communications, Business, or relevant field.
    • Experience in the Consumer Goods industry.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Problem-solving and ability to develop creative solutions
    • Critical thinking, demonstrate the ability to think and act in selling situations
    • Analytical skills, able to analyze data and develop a sales plan
    • Planning skills demonstrate the ability to prioritize activities to achieve results
    • Microsoft Office and business math skills
    • Solid understanding of effective teaching methodologies and tools.
    • Ability to assess learning needs, propose, design, develop, deliver, and measure success of learning solutions
    • Experience building and facilitating leadership development training offerings within an organization.
    • Strong project management and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to navigate in a fast-paced & performance-oriented environment.
    • Experience developing, managing and implementing people related programs.
