The
Safety Manager works within the Operational Excellence department providing oversight and assistance of field work crews in order to comply with company and legal standards.
Duties- Conduct regular jobsite and facility visits to perform safety audits, inspections, risk assessments, and compliance activities.
- Partner with field employees and leadership to promote a strong safety culture through coaching, mentoring, and corrective action.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and post-incident follow-up to identify improvements and prevent recurrence.
- Deliver safety training for field personnel and ensure compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements.
- Inspect and manage safety equipment, PPE, and related inventory to ensure readiness and compliance.
- Maintain safety records, documentation, reporting, and performance metrics within the company's safety management system.
- Support the development and improvement of safety policies, procedures, and operational processes.
- Facilitate safety meetings, participate in customer and industry events, and collaborate cross-functionally on safety initiatives.
- Administer drug and alcohol testing in accordance with company policy.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Schedule: Maintains a flexible work schedule to meet the demands of industry - hours may be long and irregular. On call occasionally required.
Skills and AbilitiesEducation: Bachelor's degree in safety-related field or equivalent industry experience or certification.
Experience: 2+ years in industry related safety position
Other Requirements: Must have a valid driver's license, meet minimum driving requirements for company insurance purposes, successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
OSHA or other safety related certifications preferred
