Position Summary

The Field Reimbursement Manager proactively provides education and support to appropriate providers and their office staff on reimbursement programs for designated therapeutic products in their defined geographically aligned accounts.  The role will serve as the key contact and lead for reimbursement and access support-related matters as well as being the market access expert on payer, policy and processes. The Field Reimbursement Manager will analyze reimbursement and access issues and serve as the regional access and reimbursement resource for field sales force personnel and area management

Essential Functions

  • Provide face-to-face and virtual engagements, using approved tools, to support and address questions about coverage requirements and educate appropriate provider staff on coverage expectations, coding and billing requirements, prior authorization process and financial assistance resources.
  • For aligned providers: deliver education and services pertaining to access, coverage, coding, reimbursement, and affordability of IBRX products.
  • Serve as reimbursement expert for defined geography and proactively communicates changes to key stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Anticipate and respond to reimbursement challenges in assigned geography
  • Educate healthcare professionals concerning information and processes involving IBRX HUB Support Services
  • Attend and proactively plan strategic interactions at key industry conferences
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales Representatives, Regional Sales Directors, Marketing, Medical, and HUB services, as required
  • Achieve targets and objectives set by senior leadership
  • Track and analyze HUB portal data for specific geography
  • Assist with training and ongoing education of cross-functional partners
  • Interact with customers according to IBRX’s compliance policies and procedures
  • Performs ad-hoc and cross-functional duties and/or projects as assigned to support business needs and provide developmental opportunities.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 12+ years of US pharmaceutical industry or other healthcare-focused reimbursement experience required
  • 5+ years of experience working with customers in a market access capacity required
  • Oncology or Urology specialty product buy and bill reimbursement experience preferred
  • Demonstrated experience and ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional business partners required
  • Must possess and maintain a current valid driver's license

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Comprehensive understanding of Medicare Parts A, B, C, D and knowledge of commercial insurance reimbursement including familiarity with HCPCS level I/II and IDC-10 billing codes
  • Demonstrated planning and communication skills; ability to present complex information to multiple stakeholders
  • Clinical, technical, and scientific knowledge and aptitude in complex disease states
  • Ability to operate as a team player, collaborating with multiple sales representatives, sales leadership, and internal colleagues to reach common goals

Working Environment / Physical Environment

  • This position works remotely.
  • Up to 50% travel required
  • Requires driving a personal vehicle on behalf of the Company
  • Must successfully complete a motor vehicle record check upon hire and annually thereafter
  • Must maintain a standard form of automobile liability insurance that meets the company’s required minimum coverage limits (currently $250,000/$500,000 bodily injury liability and $100,000 property damage liability),
  • Must provide proof of insurance coverage that meets these requirements upon hire and annually thereafter

This position is eligible for a discretionary bonus and equity award. The annual base pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications, prior experience as well as geographic location.

$200,000 (entry-level qualifications) to $220,000 (highly experienced) annually
