Role description:

Arcadis is seeking a Project Manager / Field Project Manager to support advanced technology and semiconductor tool install projects in Santa Clara, California. This role is heavily onsite and field-focused, supporting project execution in active client facilities and serving as a key liaison between Arcadis, the client, and project stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will bring 3-5 years of field experience in a semiconductor, tool install, or advanced technology environment, with a strong understanding of MEP systems, mechanical scope, and piping coordination. This position requires a hands-on professional who is comfortable conducting field walks, validating scope in the field, verifying points of connection (POCs), coordinating schedules, and meeting directly with clients to drive successful project delivery.

This role will support multiple small to mid-sized projects or workstreams, helping ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality execution. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating field activities, tracking progress, supporting cost and schedule performance, and maintaining strong communication across internal teams and client stakeholders. ...

Role accountabilities:
  • Manage and support onsite project execution for semiconductor and advanced technology projects, with an emphasis on tool install and mechanical field coordination
  • Serve as a client-facing point of contact for day-to-day coordination, including client meetings, status updates, and field issue resolution
  • Conduct regular field walks to validate existing conditions, confirm installation readiness, and verify project scope
  • Verify points of connection (POCs) and support field validation of mechanical systems, including piping and related MEP interfaces
  • Coordinate with client teams, trade partners, designers, construction teams, and vendors to maintain alignment on project goals and execution plans
  • Develop, maintain, and update project schedules, working closely with stakeholders to identify impacts, sequencing needs, and recovery actions where required
  • Track project progress, support earned value and performance reporting, and provide timely updates on cost, schedule, and field status
  • Support planning and execution of tool install and other advanced technology scope, ensuring field activities are aligned with approved drawings, specifications, and client requirements
  • Coordinate scope reviews and ensure familiarity with mechanical and MEP deliverables relevant to field execution
  • Identify and escalate field constraints, risks, and changes that may impact project performance
  • Maintain project documentation, meeting notes, action logs, and reporting for internal and external stakeholders
  • Support implementation of project safety, quality, and execution plans
  • Collaborate with internal project controls, engineering, construction management, and client teams to support successful project delivery
  • Represent Arcadis professionally in all interactions with clients, partners, and contractors
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3-5 years of field experience in construction, semiconductor, advanced technology, or industrial project environments
  • Experience in client-facing project coordination, including leading or participating in client meetings and providing regular project updates
  • Demonstrated experience with onsite project delivery, field coordination, and schedule management
  • Experience with MEP systems, with strong preference for candidates with mechanical and piping experience
  • Familiarity with tool install, advanced technology, or semiconductor manufacturing environments strongly preferred
  • Experience validating field conditions, verifying POCs, and supporting execution of mechanical scope in an active facility environment
  • Understanding of earned value, progress tracking, and project performance reporting preferred
  • Ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams, including engineering, construction, operations, and client stakeholders
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, Bluebeam, Procore, and other project coordination tools preferred
  • Ability to provide legal US work authorization documents required.
