Job Description:

This position is to support Field Project Engineer (FPE II) role, with the main intention of executing Site Integration Tiers to customers, either during the project sales phase or in execution (customer already purchased control retrofit materials to Solar. Site Integration is an enabler service helping and guiding customers to integrate Control Retrofit materials at customer sites focus on reducing change order requests to customers (during integration) and keeping project schedule.

•    Assists with developing and execution of project scope and responsible for schedule achievement, and project profitability.
•    Coordinating resources across all major business units of the company and external customers for projects
•    Overseeing project progress and costs; communicating status with stakeholders and participating functional areas; addressing and resolving problems.
•    Plans, schedules and manages the execution of projects.

What you will have:

  • Technical knowledge in Solar packages (New Equipment or Refurbish).

  • Technical knowledge in Solar packages systems (start, oil, seal, fuel, etc).

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or Business Management

  • Commercial experience is a plus (familiarity  with contracts review and negotiations, terms and conditions, incoterms, etc), extending to project  margin analysis

  • Experience Multitasking

  • Planning and project activities follow up 

  • Microsoft suite experience

  • Dual language (English and Spanish) is a plus, since will support Mexico and Latin America projects as well.

Engineering degree or Equivalent to 8 years in Solar product knowledge (packages systems, control retrofits and upgrades).

Available to travel (mainly onshore/occasionally offshore) up to 40% of time

What will set you apart:

  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree with three years' experience in Solar product knowledge (packages systems, control retrofits and upgrades).

  • Knowledge in Control Retrofits design or installation.

  • Strong knowledge of Solar package systems.

Summary Pay Range:

$112,704.00 - $169,056.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location,job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
