POSITION SUMMARY

Field Operations Managers are accountable for the safety, productivity, efficiency, and job satisfaction of all direct reports, and Konecranes customer satisfaction in the assigned territory. Through demonstrable and systematic KPI management, this role will assure continuous improvement in these key accountabilities. The role will also cooperate with other regional functions to improve Konecranes brand equity, improve process efficiency, maintain established reporting requirements, and grow the assigned territory profitably.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for the safety of all personnel. Ensure monthly safety meetings, toolbox talks, vehicle/equipment inspections, and field audits are conducted in accordance with established guidelines. Ensure all Field Operatives meet the target for 100% POWRA completion.

Coordinate schedule of work for all direct reports with centralized planning organization.

Direct field management of Field Supervisors, Inspectors, Technicians, Site Managers, and Site Supervisors within assigned territory to ensure operating efficiency and job performance consistent with planned hours. Field location will be prioritized effectively to ensure successful completion of assigned duties.

Ensure that all reports have tools, replacement parts, and components required to perform assigned work.

Ensure customer satisfaction for all work performed in the assigned territory. Perform regular customer follow up on work performed and immediately address customer concerns / complaints.

Responsible for the Gross Margin and Productivity of the branch operation.

Ensure job satisfaction of all direct reports.

Ensure that all company assets are adequately maintained and used in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations and/or industry best practice.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

Demonstrated leadership experience and well-developed "people" skills.

Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical principles

Good written and verbal communication skills and good PC skills.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of five (5) years' experience as a manager in customer service operations role; equivalent experience, education, and training will be considered.

Previous experience managing a customer facing, field service business preferred.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Must have and maintain a good driving record.

Must be willing to travel as required including overnight trips. Overnight travel estimated at 10%-20%.
