Everforth ECS is seeking a Field Operations Lead to work in our Fairfax, VA office or Remote*

Note: This position is contingent upon additional funding.

Everforth ECS is seeking a Field Operations Lead to work a hybrid opportunity, based out of our Fairfax, VA office, supporting the development and integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Cloud Solutions for a DoD customer.

Ideal candidate will be a former full motion video/GEOINT analyst, ISR Tactical Controller, Collection Manager, or military analyst who has worked ISR operations with 6-10 years experience collecting, analyzing, targeting, reporting and producing intelligence products, working to support the US Government, Allies and Partner countries, military units, subcontracting companies and other government agencies in various CONUS and OCONUS locations. The position requires an in-depth understanding of multiple sensors that provide data modalities such as EO, IR, Radar (Synthetic and Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar), Satellite (Optical, Hyperspectral, Thermal) as well as operations, collections, and data dissemination associated with the stated modalities.

The Field Operations Lead will manage a team of Field Service Representatives who will be working both CONUS and OCONUS. The candidate must have a knowledge of Department of War (DoW) units, across Combatant Commands (COCOMs) in order to ascertain data collection opportunities as required by the USG. The Field Operations Lead will work a hybrid schedule in Fairfax, VA, must be available at least two days a week onsite, and have the ability to execute 10-30% CONUS / OCONUS travel per year.

The Field Operations Lead will work closely with tactical USG Subject Matter Experts to plan and identify collection opportunities to answer emerging data requirements for AI development supporting multiple USG entities. The Field Operations Lead will develop plans and pipelines to incorporate unit engagements, data collections, data transmission processes, ensure FSRs are maintaining relationships with collection partners, and task the FSR team to implement said plans and pipelines. Successful candidates will also work directly with customer staff as Program interface and change agents and provide feedback from users and partners to Everforth ECS engineers and the USG.

In addition, the candidate must possess strong communication abilities to brief and build reports that directly influence customer satisfaction. Candidates must be able to use critical thinking to pinpoint key details and communicate with DoW entities and the USG customer effectively, assisting with data integration into one or more USG-owned environments. The candidate must be able to show strong initiative and have strong communication between working groups and team.

*Remote candidates will be considered if located near and able to access a SCIF where ISR operations are being conducted.

Salary Range: $135,000-175,000

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science/Analytics, Computer Science, Business Management, or Library and Information Science with 4+ years' experience OR High School Diploma with 8+ years' experience working as an imagery analyst, ISR Tactical Controller, sensor operator and/or intelligence specialist supporting ISR operations
  • Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance
  • Ability to travel: 10%-30% of travel will be required, CONUS and OCONUS
  • Experience with a variety of sensors, including EO, IR, SAR, and SIGINT detection/identification
  • Prior experience supporting Special Operations Force (SOF) teams and work in Joint Operations Centers conducting SOF ISR
  • Provide expert mission analysis, analytic problem solving, and assessment into information operations integration with inter-agency and intelligence community; and provide key cultural considerations that affect operational and tactical planning
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the DoW Intelligence Community & global ISR operations
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively and professionally with business, delivering impactful solutions and presenting work in a concise and thoughtful manner, while demonstrating technical expertise (fluency in English is required)
  • During high-tempo operations, can relay and articulate information to varying stakeholders across multiple locations and time zones
